PeacemakerJack 10,738 #2 Posted July 27, 2016 I'll be there with my family and my dad AND... the Iron Horse for its first show debut. Im looking forward to doing some plowing as well! Here's a couple of pics from last year... the ground was pretty hard last year because it was so dry in the month of July. Hopefully this year the conditions will be better with the rain that we have received. Hope to see you there.

PeacemakerJack 10,738 #4 Posted July 29, 2016 Great first day at Symco! It was really neat to see some of the fine specimens from Dan's collection. His Rat Rod Suburban is really cool and the quality of his 1076 resto speaks volumes of his workmanship. Here is dad's Iron Horse flanked by two CC 100's. this is Dan's 1076 and Dad's 875! We we plowed a couple of rounds today but it was still pretty wet. I think we will give it another day to dry and hopefully tomorrow the conditions will be even better. Dad just finished restoring this 8" plow (write up on the yet to come) and it really looked nice in display! If you're in the area, come on out tomorrow! jack
WHX?? 49,152 #5 Posted August 1, 2016 Nice Jack thanks for sharing, Those are calendar shots for sure! Did Dan let you ride his rat rod?!?!? Between the double w's (work & wife) I wasn't able to make it out but for sure on my calendar of shows next year! Looks like there was alot of other nice stuff there as well.

Will try to post some tonight. 53 minutes ago, WHX7 said: Those are calendar shots for sure! Did Dan let you ride his rat rod?!?!? Unfortunately Jack didn't get any seat time on my rat rod. I do owe him though for letting me plow a round with Ghost Rider.
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #7 Posted August 1, 2016 It was once again a fun show. Not ideal GT plowing conditions but they were worse last year as the ground was very hard after the dry spell we had last July. I was hoping we would have more plow tractors there but I think it was still around 15-20 on Saturday. I was once again very happy with "GhostRider" (314-8) and how he plowed. I'm getting started on the custom paint and decals for him but that will be in another thread! Mark your calendars for next year and come on out!
