953 nut 54,319 #3 Posted July 21, 2016 With any electrical problem the first step is to inspect, clean and tighten all connections including grounds. Following this you can take a jumper cable from the battery "+" directly to the starter terminal to be sure the starter will turn. Next take a small jumper from the battery "+" to the small terminal on the solenoid to see if it closes.
cleat 5,675 #4 Posted July 21, 2016 My 111-6 would just click a lot then finally roll over and start. Replaced the solenoid and it is now good.
muz123 1,191 #5 Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) Join the 200 series clicking issue club. I've had a 212 for years and replaced all electrical items and still clicks a few times before starting. Edited July 22, 2016 by muz123
woodchuckfarmer 333 #6 Posted July 22, 2016 Take your battery and have it tested, see if it is in good shape.
Cmyers3843 1 #7 Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) I let it sit for a bit and the starter moved a tiny bit. I'm going to try and jump the battery to see if it's has low volts does anyone have pictures of the starters wires hooked up to the bottom of the starter Edited July 22, 2016 by Cmyers3843
