Snow Blower Question

TT

It looks like it's for the 1966 to 1972 tractors with the larger PTO clutches. (1056, 1276, 1077, Charger 10/12, etc.) The lower hp tractors with the 2 1/2" engine pulley and the foot pedal PTO assembly require a snowthrower with the belt tensioner "clutch" attached to the mounting frame. (like the ST-326/376)

That's also an awful lot of money for the condition it's in. :hide:

Yeah I thought It looked like it would fit a raider 10.

And I agree that is way to much money, I was thinking of offering $50 for it and see if he laughs at me..lol

My answer is that it won't fit any WH due to the fact the mount has been extensively modified.

But it did fit the large frames with the clutch on the side as TT says. For 50 bucks *maybe* though if you shop long enough you may find one in better shape for that much.

You will need a lift pole and flag which will cost quite a bit alone.

best of luck

Yeah, I noticed the mounting setup looked odd.

I was just currious, I'll keep looking.. :hide:

What are you looking to put a blower on? I know where there is a old style, think it's like the one TT put on here, and I have ones to fit the newer tractors, I'm right here in MI.

It's also missing most of the chute rotation parts.

That is a ton of money... for its condition. I paid $125 for mine and its a 1968. Its been modified, it works, but would probably work better with its original equipment hardware.

Mine is in much better shape, with all that rust, I'd say $25 bucks or scrap.

Hey eric I,ve got one off a ls-45 New Hlland that would probably fit a wheel horse mount better than that. I,ve got one on my gt_18 so don't need that one anymore. :hide:

So, I wonder just how hard it is to adapt the newer blowers and other equipment to late-60's tractors , I know the decks are easy enough ....?
