Ed Kennell 38,178 #1 Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) The bituminous coal powered puller took it to the house today at Fawn Grove Olde Tyme Days. Running a little too rich? , Add some air. Then take her out the end. She has a really cool horn too. Edited July 10, 2016 by Ed Kennell
Digger 66 3,478 #2 Posted July 10, 2016 Even if they're only for exhibitions , i love watching those behemoths effortlessly yank a sled as far as the pilot wants without so much as a hint of wheel-spin . Mass / weight + traction will win every time . Thanks for sharing .
benji756 341 #3 Posted July 10, 2016 that brings back memories of my dad taking me to pulls when I was a kid and seeing things like this, the spark show is the best part, thanks for sharing this.
Achto 27,577 #4 Posted July 10, 2016 The 110hp Case's like the one in the video above were the first tractors with power steering. If you watch close you will notice that there is no steering wheel. Levers controlled steam to turn the spool for turning the axle.

Buzz 502 #7 Posted July 11, 2016 A few years ago I saw one spinning its wheels at the Days of the Past Show in Washington Crossing NJ. It was sitting in about 1/2 inch of wet clay and the wheels wouldn't grip. The Caterpiller Club has their show the same time and one of the big 'dozers came over and gave it a little nudge and away it went huffing and puffing.
