Thatoneguy 197 #1 Posted July 10, 2016 is the pulley on the parking lever suppose to turn with the belt?
rmaynard 15,642 #2 Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) If you are referring to Sundstrand transmission where the parking/idler lever engages the transmission by tightening the belt, the answer is yes, it is supposed to rotate with the belt when engaged. Since we don't know the year and model of your we can only assume if the pulley does not turn when engaged the pulley bearing is locked up and you need a new pulley.
Thatoneguy 197 #5 Posted July 13, 2016 Yes it is locked up like I thought. I am going to do a little work on it this evening! It is a 1976 C-120 Auto with a 12hp tech. Thanks for the help! I didn't know what it was called!
Ed Kennell 38,814 #6 Posted July 13, 2016 The part no is 7434 for the clutch idler pulley. If you need the manual, go to the MANUALS section and search C-120. My C-120 auto with the HH120 Tecumseh was my first , and still my favorite....great worker.
