Exhaust stack

Recommended Posts

64lawnranger

It was way too cold outside yesterday to do anything so I stayed in and fabbed up this exhaust stack on my working ranger....some old cast pipe, a tube style muffler, and a chrome drain tail piece...and the best part no welding, just two screws to hold the chrome stack on.

:hide: cool stack, i am planning on putting twin stacks on a 20 hp honda and i was wondering just how much pipe ,(planning on haveing it made for me) but i'm worried about the weight of the stacks breaking the studs that hold it to the engine ports, how much weight is to much???/

Nice stack, I like the drain idea. Nice and chromey. I had made dual stacks for my older crapsman, (that I already sold) :D , and they were pretty cool also. I had truck flappers on them. I'd like to do it again with my 551 suburban. :hide:

I would say 10,000 lbs would be too much :D:hide::omg:

probably 3-4lbs is enough per side  might be too much  the chrome stack, depending on length :hide: is going to be the lightest part!

the pipe will probably be the heaviest and depending on length also :D

keep us posted :D
