Upper Canada 213 #4 Posted July 9, 2016 Thanks! Now I have three more questions. What year roughly is this tractor? What model it might be? And what is it worth approximately or what is a reasonable price if I were to buy it?
squonk 41,118 #5 Posted July 9, 2016 That label on the Trans will tell you exactly what model it is.

russellmc301 600 #7 Posted July 9, 2016 (edited) 1968-72 jim dandy 600-800 bucks since missing hood i can get one with a hood for 800 also these go about 20mph Edited July 9, 2016 by russellmc301
Upper Canada 213 #8 Posted July 9, 2016 The guy is asking $1600 Canadian so that is about $1200 US. A little more than $800 US but given my location these are probably a bit rarer. It is a cool tractor. I have been debating on buying it but I could spend that money on tractors. I also have a chance to buy a C195 for $500 and most likely will buy it. This garden tractor hobby is addictive!

Upper Canada 213 #10 Posted July 9, 2016 @russellmc301 Are you in Ontario Canada as well? Which suburban did you buy from him? He also has 663 for sale as well.
squonk 41,118 #11 Posted July 9, 2016 I wouldn't say that tractor is missing the hood. depending on the actual year, it may have not had a hood ever. Also that tractor has bigger wheels than the Jim Dandies came with.

Ken B 3,164 #13 Posted July 14, 2016 I restored this 61 a few years back, I wish I still had this one... Mine had the original 9 hp Briggs that ran fantastic with plenty of power, it would out pull any tractor I have ever owned..
sluggo 40 #14 Posted July 14, 2016 Is that a pipe covering the driveshaft or is that a spinning OSHA nightmare between the drivers legs?
