Dave's @Fun Engineer show cooler The kid on this tractor was a riot... comes and looks at my RJ and says he wants it ...I says hey kid I just bought it gimme some seat time first! Turns out he wants a rear engine model in the worst way so I commenced to explain the meaning of nut roasters to him. Well get you sell it to me?? Well ok I says 9 bills and she's yours...thats what I just paid for it. Would ya take 500 (as he starts to flash some cash out of his pocket)! This is when i figure out the kid's for real! WHX?? 48,814 #10 Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) I says you just missed out on a nice suburb (that was parked next to Aldon's by the mash pole) and the guy was only asking 600...she was cherry! Tell you what I got a suburban at camp ...come over and look at it and we'll talk. So he comes to camp later and we could't work a deal so I told him where another one was. Comes back to camp an hour later riding the one you see him on. Smiles ear to ear! My wife and I both clapped him on & talked to his dad a bit. Turns out he's got a good sized mixed herd at home of his own and was drivin big tractors at six. Nice kid and really made my show wheelin & dealin with him! 857 horse 2,581 #12 Posted August 2, 2016 Here i sit......1st day of August....looking at pics,,,Wow I finally met Richard,,,,,super great guy....1 state away....Never spoke to Craig untill this year..I enjoyed meeting the Team Rules..Good couple.... We all talk about seat time,,,,well.....at the show lawn chair time is priceless,,,talking with friends,,,this was my best year yet....Road apples spent some time at the Mash Pole Group Therapy tent... and we stayed soooo long,,,,security ask us to go home in the nicest way they could.. I missed the fire pit time...if there was any.....I know i had the energy,,,i took a nap during the day...and later found out a couple of you were keeping an eye on me,,,,making sure I WAS napping !!! Thanks for that,,,friends do that..... well.......its late now...im tired....and i know you guys will let me snooze,,,,,,,,until the am...when the world wants me back........... talk soon.....and thanks to anyone that made a contribution to this thread and my nap time,,,, Howard 857 horse in Va 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
