OHRob72 88 #1 Posted June 14, 2016 I bought this Commando 8 a couple months ago and it has been sitting in a friend's barn since I got it. I started it up yesterday to drive it around and let it run for a while. I noticed an oil leak on the left and back side of the engine when I put it back into the barn. Aside from the smoking during the initial start up, which took a number of cranks, the engine did not smoke when it was running. I just wanted to see if others have had this issue and what might be causing this? This is my first K181 so I am not that familiar with this engine. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Achto 28,060 #2 Posted June 14, 2016 Looks like it could be the oil pan gasket, hard to tell in the pic. Best bet would be to clean all the grease & oil off the engine, some Gunk engine degreaser and a hose should do the trick.
