TLH 5 #6 Posted June 14, 2016 Thanks, all. Picked up a NAPA 1410 yesterday. They had a little trouble finding it (not sure why) but when I gave them the Wix number, it popped right up. I'm assuming Type A tranny fluid is now marketed as ATF, as opposed to Type F for Fords. Is that correct? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

pfrederi 17,911 #9 Posted June 15, 2016 Type A was Dexron (GM) Type F was Mercron (Ford). There is now a universal version that works for Dexron 3 and Mercron 3 and earlier. It is jut fine for your horse.on 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
