Now that right there is an original. Blows me away some of the things you come up with in that lab of yours John... What are your plans for the seat? I might be able to hook you up with some upholstery to cover it with.. Let me know what your thinking..

Just the metal pan seat for now, a true rigid but I really like that seat cover on little Bo's hot rod tractor. Something like that would be a perfect fit, wonder if I can get him to trade for it? LoL

Thanks Ken, but I still have some of that black you gave me before but no way to sow it up to make a cover. Guess it could be done by hand but doubt I'll have the time.

ANYBODY at the show who wants to take it for a ride is more than welcome to do it. All you need to do is ask. The more the merrier because that's what it's built for, pure enjoyment. No need to worry about breaking anything either, I know a guy who can fix it cheap! Plus there will be a whole fairgrounds full of replacement parts.

That's funny, I was only joking around but what's he interested in?  A Kohler 8 hp engine so he can electric start that hot rod?

That is very cool, you have the look spot on

Don't paint it though John, the faded/time aged look works very well.

Super creative and it's got "the look"! The more I look at it, the more creativity I see. You can run over a lot of zombies with that when the time comes! :handgestures-thumbupright::handgestures-thumbupright::bow-blue:

If you could stay a few weeks John, you could enter it in the build a bike contest at Gettysburg Bike Week...    :auto-dirtbike:

Imagine this with a V-twin sticking out from the rails!  Or better (era correct) yet, I've got a '77 Suzuki GS550 inline 4 with a 13000 red line and a 6 speed gearbox that would love some old iron to sit on!

If you have the room to store it, I just might. We can talk about it at the show. Maybe we can convert some of those Bikers into Wheel Horse guys.

Building and creating is the fun part for me, not the finished product. Maybe that's part of why there are quite a few unfinished projects around and none of the "finished" stuff ever gets a nice paint job. Kind of keeps the project in a building stage.

Original plan was for a bigger engine. So far the only thing I'm not really happy with is that little engine because there's too much air around it, all that space should be packed full of engine. We'll see if there's time to do something about that.

All it needs now is a Easy Rider Loop behind the seat with flag holder and a American Flag. A chrome gas cap on that vented gas tank would be nice.

:text-yeahthat: Would be cool to ultimately make that tank functional too.

WAAAAAY beyond my skill level to build a gas tank, or at least a nice one anyway but have plenty of ideas about converting one. Think I might need to do something because the only thing I really don't like is that engine, because it's not Wheel Horse correct. It's the gas tank that was giving trouble to begin with which is why that engine is in there. Working on something but not sure how it will fit.

Got the brakes worked out today. Still needs some tweeking but close.
