squonk 41,639 #6 Posted June 3, 2016 I run a .5 cu in 5GPM pump on my homemade Power King loader. You have to match the pump output with the cylinder size. loader boom length, and engine RPM. You can always adjust the flow by changing pulley sizes. I went 1:1 ratio for my setup but if you find it going too fast, you can go with a larger pulley on the pump to slow the rpm. Pullstart 63,201 #13 Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) I don't have a loader, but for my plow trucks I've got a few belt driven plow pumps by fisher that I would imagine could do the trick if they fit in your space allowed. They have a reservoir large enough for the plow cylinder to raise and lower, so if you're using a dual acting cylinder that fills one side as it empties the other, I'd imagine the self contained reservoir would work just fine. I use these pumps along with northern tool spool valves http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_8516_8516 to run my front plow raise/lower/float, front plow turn and rear plow up/down (pressure both ways) powered by the truck engine without any problems. The fisher pumps can be had on ebay from time to time, there's one now for $78 or best offer including shipping... Edited June 15, 2016 by pullstart specifying truck use... 82Caddy 851 #19 Posted June 17, 2016 It attaches in front of the attach-a-matric bracket. There are two holes the ark loader pump bracket bolts to. Great people that can help you figure out what you might need. and can make you anything hydraulic. all their items are prices below most other places and fast delivery.
