Road-Track 39 #30 Posted May 5, 2016 (edited) It might be there to help remove the pin in use for the engaging lever. It is also good to have a spare hanging around too. Edited May 5, 2016 by Road-Track add picture
c-series don 8,851 #31 Posted May 6, 2016 I would have to say 900 is not a good deal for that tractor. It's a Great deal. Take care of that baby and it should last a very long time. Good luck with it!
TALMADGE 71 #32 Posted May 6, 2016 Thank God above. c-series don, i was worried about that kinda coin on an old horse
WVHillbilly520H 10,374 #33 Posted May 6, 2016 Heck I gave $1200 for this one with 236 hrs on a working clock so yes you did well, plus you didn't have to go through the headaches I am, but nonetheless I have another I bought brand new in '98 that runs just as good now as then with 755 hrs on but I'm thinking it'll get a break for a while then there's the $800 diesel that I haven't running yet but that's another story, and good luck with your new horse ain't much sounds better than that Onan mowing grass or blowing snow,Jeff.
c-series don 8,851 #34 Posted May 6, 2016 I'm not sure what else you plan on doing with it , but that machine is capable of doing many different tasks well. Like it was said earlier be careful these things can become addicting. Next thing you know you'll be driving around looking in people's back yards, sheds and garages for another one!! When we go away my wife prefers to drive because she says I'm going to crash looking for "those damn tractors!"

cheesegrader 433 #41 Posted May 6, 2016 There is a hole in the bottom of the PTO hoop, just above the lower mounting plate, that should have a pin in it to help keep the hoop from sinking. I think that is where your spare belongs. Nice Malibu! My son dreams of a ride like that. He will get it as soon as he finishes building one himself!
