jsp_333 273 #1 Posted May 5, 2016 Am trying to get the, gas tank(hood) fuel reservoir, carburetor functioning on an rj 35. I need to know how the the fuel reservoir attaches to the gas tank. I've used rubber fuel line but the reservoir sits lower than the carburetor which I'm assuming will be a problem. I could cut the fuel line shorter but I'd like to use the original factory set up. Copper fuel line and compression fittings??? Can anyone tell me how it was originally set up.

If you use a metal line be sure to include a loop in the line to allow for engine vibration and prevent work hardening of the line.
jsp_333 273 #3 Posted May 5, 2016 Hey Thanks. Can't wait to run her with the hood on so it actually looks complete. And that explains why the copper fuel line that came with it was looped. Am still curious about the original set up of the tank to the reservoir. The lead from the tank has a balled end almost like a compression fitting but with no thread. Anyone got Pics?
