You are lucky , my wife will not come anywhere near the tractor unless she needs me to do something for her. Your wife looks happy.

Great meeting you guys and Katy too. My son goes by Prater. He lives in the Bahamas. Have lots of fun with it. Now the hobby has hit the both of you. Wish my wife would get on one and get hooked also.

Congratulations!  It's great to have a spouse interested in Wheel Horses.  Now she should be more understanding about picking up more horses or parts to get them running/restored.  My wife just fell in love with a WH A-81 RER that a member here had for sale.  She insisted I buy it for her and I just picked it up today.  Now she wants to mow the yard with it.  So expect your "seat" time to possibly go down some as she wants some "seat" time of her own.

Lol she did let me back it off the trailer and drive it about twenty feet to the air compressor to add a little air to the tires and that was it...made me wish the 1277 was here instead of in town so I could join in on the fun...guess I'll be loading it up and bringing it back home tomorrow afternoon

Everyone keeps saying you are lucky. I don't think so. You aren't getting enough credit here. I think the good Professor taught his student very well, and that was the plan all along!! :handgestures-thumbupright:  :handgestures-thumbupright::text-lol:

If I'm not mistaken that round hood is a 701. Gonna get it going? :)

Yes you are correct it is a 701 and yes that is my little project tractor...the other two are runners but that one is still a work in progress

Doesn't a 701 have a solid grill but it does have the earlier foot plates and brake clutch pedal :confusion-scratchheadyellow: .  Could be a lot worse , shoes , purses , and all that other girly stuff   . Now you can take her on dates to find that K161  :thumbs2: .

Yes it does but this one doesn't have the factory hood on it...when I got it the hood wasn't even on it and it had a non original Wisconsin engine on it
