Couldn't say for sure but, all my mule drives the same size.

Let's wait on the forum Horse mule drive pro's.

From what I understand, the 60 inch deck requires a specific spring tensioned or spring loaded mule drive.

Thanks daveoman1966. Been a long time since I've seen a 60" deck.

Does anyone know where I can get a spring loaded mule drive for my wheelhorse 520h with a 60” deck?

Okay so what is the deal with the spring? I have been running a 60" deck on my 416-H for years with a standard mule drive. I only recently had to replace the belt.

Really...I just found this out myself. I do have a 60” deck on my 520h with the standard mule drive. The trouble I am having is I’m replacing PTO to deck belt every year. I can’t seem to get the mule drive adjusted just right. If I can show these pics you will see the issue I’m having. I start with a new belt. Mule bolt all the way in. I took the deck off to replace the bearings and reinstalled the deck. Now...with not much wear on the belt. I have to adjust the mule drive bolt all the way out to get the 1/2” play in the belt. I thought it may be the wrong mule drive for a 60” deck. What am I doing wrong?

Qs...Do you have the right PTO to deck drive belt.

This belt MUST be on the INNER V of the PTO pulley...NOT the outer V.

It is the right belt part number 114895. And it is in the inner V of the PTO.

My issue is the mule drive adjustment bolt. It is almost adjusted out of the pinion nut. Is there a correct  procedure for install and adjustment?

I think that you said the mule drive is the one for all other decks than the 60", is that correct?  If you do not have the spring loaded mule drive, you will need to come up with a belt that will fit.  Even then, I would expect clearance problems and short belt life.

Belt 114895 is the engine to trans drive belt...

The deck drive belt should be # 113072... Length is 103"  .. schematic here

i think part of the issue is the forward angle setting on the drive, looking at the # 10 pictures, you are at the end of your adjustment threading. also note the 45% lower forward angle of the mule drive, both of these issues effect the stability of the drive belt. years ago I went to a shorter belt, 1" to 2" will put you right on the sweet spot for adjustment and level/ square drive mounting. I went to a local  (  bearing distributor  )  that has belts and bearings and sized up a shorter belt, against the used belt. Problem went away, and my drive sits square on the frame hitch point. the speed and angle vibration / lack of stability  is probably the cause, when you are in the center of your dial thread adjustment , you are at the strong point of the mule. I tag all my belts with info , so I always have a spare . take your belt to a local supplier and size up a shorter belt, try it on, (  without running it  ) and verify your change, they can zero in on your exact length. I agree with that what I have seen is the pulleys have worn enough to need a slightly shorter belt to keep everything tight

Belt 114895 is NOT the correct belt as it is only 83" long and is for the TRANSMISSION drive belt.

The DECK DRIVE BELT is number 113072 and it is 103" in length.

Get the right belt # 113072 and I bet your problems will be solved.

I know from my 310-8 37"SD mowing combination that when you adjust the tension all the way out as you have that you are quite probably rubbing the back of the belt on the metal cover for the mule drive pulleys -- And that doesn't last too long -- That is a different angle than the whole thing was designed to operate at -- I think you will have to get the custom shorter belt prescribed by Peter or get the correct 60" mule drive with the correct 60" belt

I've been searching for the answer to this question as well. I have been scouring eBay, Craigslist, and forums alike. It seems these mule drives are rarer than gold.

Ok guys. I’ve tried a slightly shorter belt for the 60” deck on my 520. I did get my adjustment right. But after a couple times of mowing the belt stretches and wears and  ultimately breaks. Any suggestions?I’m still looking for the  correct  Spring loaded mule drive. So if you guys may have one you’d sale or may know who might...PLEASE LET ME KNOW.😬

Try Lincoln at A to Z

Or

Seeing you're in WV... Maybe @WVHillbilly520H Jeff has a local parts source?
