stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #1 Posted April 6, 2016 For those members who are new to the site each year about this time I start a pre big show buy/trade/sell thread. This is used for members on the forum to post items they would like to buy, trade or sell prior to the big show. Typically they are bigger items that they would not bring unless pre sold. So .... I will start off. I have a set of rear 520 rims and tires for sale. Tires hold air but are not in great condition but usable. $100 for the rims and tires. I have a set of 12" dual wheel adapters that were used on my 522xi with dual 10.50 ags but will work on any 12" rims.- Sold to Fastpu88 . I have a 44" xi deck in good usable condition - 44" deck has been sold!. Has newer paint job. Looking for $200 for it. I have a new set of 10" ags for $75. I have a 953 plow blade bracket I would like $75 for. I have a new set of front tires for 3,4 and 500 series for $50. I have a 60" deck with new new spindles and bearings with 1 season of loving on them for $600. Suburban snow plow for $75. And lastly, an aftermarket wheelhorse super service sign for $50-SOLD TO SQUONK. 60" 520 deck is sold I am looking for some hauling help of a 60" xi deck from Mentone show or Micigan area (Jake will bring it there) to the big show. I have a 54" plow blade only that needs to be brought back. We are willing to kick in some cash for gas.- Deck has a ride so all set here.

Aldon 4,826 #3 Posted April 7, 2016 (edited) First to PM me gets dibs. Gonna be posted in classifieds and craigslist for anything listed. I have a spare GT14 3 point bar that allows one to use the main hydraulic lift to manipulate the 3 point. I have no need for a spare. Most st of the 3 point is easy enough to fab up. This piece has some twists that if by necessity make it a bit more of a hassle to self fabricate. 75.00 pre paid and I'll bring it to show or can be picked up from me anytime. No shipping. For reference the bar is one over the top of hydro pump in pic below. TANK IS SOLD ---I have a spare GT14 gas tank. 50.00 I can clean it, paint and do grommet modification if requested. 80.00 if that is case. Aldon 4,826 #4 Posted April 7, 2016 (edited) Dang iPhone. This is continuation of my first post. Hitch - 25.00 Mule for GT14 and a few others of that era: blasted and primed 30.00 to show or picked up. Solid cast Nose for GT14 with light assembly condition of lights unknown. 70.00 Front Deck Hanger - 175.00 or as noted in classifieds I'll take 125 by PayPal gift before show.... Set of GT14 rims. 125.00 May fit others of same size and era. Blasted and acid etch primed. Front will need tubed as someone in past used some goo/glop that congealed and will not come off. See pics of one front rim. Otherwise good. Also have a snow blower for GT14. Some rust but seemingly restorable. Not best pic but it's stored at the moment. 100.00 also have a c series single stage. 100.00 will make a package deal for both. Some misc GT14 parts. If you need something PM me. Other than electrical there is a better than 50% chance I have it. Edited May 3, 2016 by Aldon

squonk 41,051 #9 Posted April 10, 2016 (edited) I'll be looking for either a nice/restored / original 1045 or nice / restored /original 500 Special. (I know Squonk with a Tecky!) If not one of those a elec. start round hood 701 702 854 ect , original square hoods ,520 416 hydro. Just about anything really. I'll have a RJ steering wheel and shaft, a pile of odd ball NOS blades that will go cheap. EDIT: RJ wheel is sold! I have a 604 hood for free if anyone wants it. The bottom bracket is gone and it's cut at the steering shaft but the top bolt holes are nice. I'll only bring it if someone wants it. HOOD SPOKEN FOR!! Racinbob 11,048 #10 Posted April 10, 2016 (edited) Edited 4/18 after a trip to St. Cloud I should be able to find most of what I’m looking for as I wander aimlessly around the show but if you’re coming and have something I need all the better. Suburban heat shield 7706 snow blade lift bar making one Thanks for the welding Richie 6-12 tire chains Size change, now 23-8.50-12, want 2-link 6-12 tubes Lowback seat (like in the picture but when I got the tractor is wasn't on it) Seat springs (mid 70’s style) Thanks Richie Shifter boot Plastic gas tank (under hood type) Thanks Richie Hood ornament Thanks Dan (Indyford2) 7596 ignition switch Lift 'flag' for snowblower or generator Thanks Ed I was given these two tractors, a 657 and a 500 Special. It’s a “make one good one out of the two” thing but I have some extra parts including the hood on the nearest one. It’s a long frame hood. These tractors have a lot of parts that are shared with quite a few models. If there’s something you need let me know and just maybe I'll have it. One has a Briggs and the other a Tecky H60. I’m told they both run but I haven’t tried them out. Hopefully I will before the show. Folks, my 500 Special will have a K161 on it. We are heading to Indiana after the show. If you have something that needs to go to the South Bend area I’d be happy to deliver it. No tractors though. I’m not taking my trailer this year and whatever I haul must allow the rolling bed cover on my truck to close. Edited May 4, 2016 by Racinbob
CasualObserver 3,408 #11 Posted April 10, 2016 (edited) I've got a few things not worth the hassle or expense of shipping from MN, but I'm actually coming to the show this year, so if someone speaks up for them, I'll throw them in the truck. Everything is priced, but prices are negotiable. RMR32 belt guard for RJ58 or 401/551. 25 obo 1958-59? RMR-32 for RJ-58 (rounded gear boxes and flaps at back of deck) Nice blade tips. 75 obo Slot hitch for RJ58/Suburban $20. Rear bar section of Wheel Horse cultivator. left side of bar is tweaked a little, but should straighten back out. 50 obo Deck chute extension I think from an 800 Special or something like that. Free if you can use it. The rest of these items are spoken for, just leaving here for reference. Thanks guys! 1960 RMR-32 for Suburban 400/550 complete with lift rod parts, belt guard and engagement pedal. Nice blade tips. 100 obo (spoken for) 195? RMR-32 for RJ-35 (assumed due to square gear boxes and lack of flaps sticking up at back of deck). 75 obo (spoken for) 32" rear discharge deck I think from a Lawn Ranger... been in the back of shed so long I'm not sure anymore, can't find ID. Nice solid shell, no rust through that I see. $25 obo (spoken for) Chain guard for PTO 66 - 25 obo (spoken for) Shaft assembly from a 8-3211 Front mount farm PTO. Shaft is frozen, not sure if rusted or bearings seized or what. Also have a single bracket that goes with it that is the one the big pto shield bolts to. I know... random, but it's two major pieces toward building your own Farm PTO.... and lets' face it... the shaft assembly is the hardest part to find/fabricate... and it has a serial tag. $50 obo (Spoken for) Slot hitch for RJ58/Suburban $25 (spoken for) Cast iron foot rests original rusty, flat set goes on bar at angle. dinged up a little probably from someone hammering on them to remove. Also has small crack in back. $25 (spoken for) 1965-67 NOS Seat pan. Part 5661. This seat pan looks like it was never installed. Has small ding/dent on one side, probably from bad storage at some point. Has some old masking tape and newspaper stuck to it and scratches, but it will need to be repainted to match your restoration anyway. $100? If you can use it, make me an offer, you may own it. Only difference from other long frames is that it does not have a cutout on the front for headlights.
Racinbob 11,048 #20 Posted April 13, 2016 I think 66/67 were transition years for the headlight thingy. The hoods with the cutout has 6 horizontal grill slots, without the cutout it has 7. The hood I have has the cutout. I have the plastic bezel and it looks good but two of the corners with the mounting pegs have been epoxied on. I think it will hold though. I'll get the hood down tomorrow morning and post a picture.

There's no dents at all but you can see some paint issues. It is also missing the 5455 hood hinge. Looking at post #10 you can see that the PO mounted it on a short frame. Fortunately he used the original holes so there are no extra holes drilled in it. You can see the hairline cracks in the two corners of the headlight plate. It's epoxy but if I was going to use it I would probably do a little plastic welding on the backside.
