farmer 1,075 #54 Posted May 6, 2016 A few years back, at the annual YFC rally (young farmers club) a 'course' would be set up with straw bale 'bays' to back into. Two trailers would await anyone who wanted to had a go, a standard single axle and of course the dreaded four wheeler, against the clock of course. Is there anything like this at the WH show?
Retired Wrencher 5,578 #55 Posted May 6, 2016 looks like it is taking shape. Good job. Going to paint it red?
cleat 6,801 #56 Posted May 6, 2016 No, the wood will stay pressure treated brown. The sides will have the hinges and latches painted red.

cleat 6,801 #58 Posted July 29, 2016 (edited) Finally got the sides installed. I can fold down one or both sides, or the tailgate. Edited July 29, 2016 by cleat

DennisThornton 4,770 #60 Posted July 30, 2016 A low flat bed or one with flip down side is SO handy for loading and working around the yard! Leaves and dirt is not the ONLY thing that a homeowner needs to move around.
