bds1984 1,453 #1 Posted March 13, 2016 Has anyone installed their own electric lift? I'm coming across a few linear actuators like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/201540151260?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT What do you think guys? I'm looking at only lifting a mower deck and maybe a 48" blade on my C165-8. Thoughts?
N3PUY 1,031 #2 Posted March 13, 2016 Might work ... might not. Look at this topic ... http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/62065-increasing-charging-system-output/#comment-579524
bds1984 1,453 #3 Posted March 13, 2016 I'm not terribly worried about that issue. At most the models I have looked at draw 23 amps at full load of 500 lbs and I have a completely new 20 amp charging and electrical system on my machine. Besides, I wont be using it continuously. elcamino/wheelhorse 9,358 #4 Posted March 13, 2016 I installed an electric actuator on the rear of my 310-8 for hitch . Have not had any problems. The rear hitch will lift the rear off the ground. Check out my thread started July 2015 , Separate Rear Hitch Lift.
