doc724 925 #26 Posted February 25, 2016 My neighbor had one of those cigarette boats. Twin 454's with I/O drive-55 gallons of gas per hour. We have protective covenants in the neighborhood and boats on trailers are not permitted. The (new) neighbor asked if I minded if he stored his boat way back in the woods. I did not mind and I never saw the boat until he pulled it from the woods the following spring. It dwarfed the Jeep Cherokee that was was towing it. In the 10 years he had it, I think it made it to the water less than 6 times!
cmcmjk 15 #27 Posted February 25, 2016 Boating and fishing is definitely one of our loves in life! I've always told friends that were considering it that you have to keep the boat in the water. Add a trailer to the equation and use falls dramatically! Back on topic, I just ordered the carlisle turf tracs! Thanks for all of your input!

cmcmjk 15 #30 Posted February 26, 2016 Wow, that's a good price for the rear tires. The boat is a Four Winns Quest. They built them for themselves for 3 years and then Quest became its own brand. They also made the same boat for Ranger and Triton when they started getting into the center console market.
