Just think, if our horse’s hubs were attached like this, all loose / frozen hub troubles would be over! Doug. p.s. Great pic by the way. 👍

Bailey855 166 #204 Posted May 17, 2021 I know these aren’t super old pics but this is me and my late father on the 855 I inherited. Mowing pic is 1992 and the pic of me pulling the aerator was the first time he let me drive 1995. Remember that day vividly. 7
WheelHorse79 271 #205 Posted May 22, 2021 That Farmall brings back memories. My Grandfather had a 1936 Farmall F-12 he bought new during the depression. He had both rubber and steel wheels for it. The steel wheels would really tear up the roads in the summer so Ohio outlawed them for road use. The F-12 had no electrics being crank start with a magneto. My Grandfather would never let me start it because if it back-fired, it could break your arm! Today's tractors are so much more user friendly.

I grew up using an 875 that we restored about 5 years ago. There is a write up in the restore section of the forum with LOTS of old time pics including this one my dad, myself, and my younger brother back in the summer of 1983. Love the history and familial connection to the Wheel Horse GT in your case as well. Thanks for sharing the pictures and the story as well🙌🏻 3

But alas, he survived, as did we all ( so far! ) !
