c-series don 8,687 #228 Posted May 7, 2022 My son in law now has that tractor and it is still going strong, getting ready to order new hydraulic hoses for it this week! I told my wife I’m not buying anymore tractors, but if there’s a nice C-141 auto at the big show I may have to buy it. And don’t you know that tractor happened to be calling my name!! It was in several parades and I polished it so much I actually rubbed through the thin paint on it. I passed it along to Don Oliver to give it a good home and a fitting restoration someday ! Pullstart 62,834 #233 Posted September 15, 2022 (edited) This was an ASA parade in Andersen, IN. Wheelhorse leading the pack! Notice the second car is a being pulled by one and the third appears to be towed by another GT. My wife’s grandfather is on the door of the Goodwrench car. Back in the parade, my FIL and wife riding on the trunk lid…. We aren’t sure who was sticking out the passenger window. Original tractor was a raider that was burned up in a fire when one grandfather owned it and other grandfather dug it out of the ashes and pieced it together with lawn ranger parts he had to make functional again Last picture is that tractor today finally back the way it came from the factory 2 6 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

My grandparents and cousin with the Work Horse my grandpa bought new in ‘83 the picture is dated 1986 along with the original operators manual which was really cool to be able to read through. The tractor is still around too which is cool and one funny thing with it was my grandfather didn’t like the turf tires so the dealer swapped wheels off another tractor so somewhere out there there’s a wheel horse with the gloss white rears and this one has the beige white rims. 11 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
