formariz 11,988 #1 Posted December 6, 2008 Here it is after two days with no abrasives or noise. Dark areas are pitted spots.All rust gone from them just left with a black carbon deposit. "Flash" rust occurs imediately after it is removed from electrolytic but come right off with a rag. Engine shrouds were also cleaned with the same method.
