OldRedWheelHorse 7 #1 Posted January 24, 2016 Hello All, First post to the forum. Great forum! Though this might interest/help out someone else: I got a atv plow for free and was able to fit it to my 516-H as a quick attachment. I cut off the existing bracket on the plow and cut a few pieces of flat steel and fitted a rod on the top that will connect to the quick attach where the deck hangs. I wired a 3-way momentary switch to the plow, put some rubber chains on and I was in business. Still need some work to finish it up (Grind off all sharp edges and some black paint), but was in a rush to get it finished before the big storm. Handled a foot of snow pretty well! Here are some pics:

mmmmmdonuts 274 #9 Posted January 25, 2016 Awesome setup. I got an ATV plow at home collecting dust and this would be a nice project to do. Is that some sort of bottle neck pump to move the plow up and down? Does it tilt sideways?

The plow has a small winch that hooks to a bracket with an eye hook on the front of the tractor that lifts it. It angles left and right with a pin. If yours doesn't have a winch you could get an inexpensive one and mount it where I have the eye hook. Doesn't take much of a which to lift an atv plow. Put some pics up when you get it together, I'd love to see it. Good luck!
