Gernzz8 38 #1 Posted January 13, 2016 I am entertaining purchasing a: Brinly BS-38BH Sleeve Hitch Tow Behind Box Scraper, 38-Inch. Will my Kohler 10Hp and 8 Speed Trans be able to handle it?

Gernzz8 38 #3 Posted January 13, 2016 I was going to add wheel weights 55Lb rear & 30Lb front. I have Turf Saver tires on it currently. I'm guessing I will probably have to use AG tires?
AMC RULES 37,127 #4 Posted January 13, 2016 Filled turfs, with the weights should do the trick.

Don1977 604 #7 Posted January 14, 2016 Weights will help, but you will able to pull the Brinkly box scraper with out them.
wrightorchid 261 #8 Posted January 14, 2016 If you need to move a lot of dirt, or hard packed, be sure to till the area first, to roughly the depth you need. This will make it possible to move, when not using a bull dozer.
Gernzz8 38 #9 Posted January 14, 2016 My soil isn't that hard/compacted, I start hitting sandy soil at 3 1/2 to 4 feet. I'm thinking wheel weights front and back as well as a concrete block on the scraper. Attempt it when the soil is moist. What's the skinny on filling your tires with Washer Fluid?.......What about a tire repair with the fluid in it?
