I know that I need snow thrower 6-3211 for my lawn ranger and couldn't find one available. I purchased a 6-6211 snow thrower for cheap and hoping that I can make it work. Has anyone accomplished this yet also what belt do I need to purchase from napa? Please help would like to get this done before we see snow

The 6-3211 is a 32" model and the 1589 original belt is  6857 Gates 1/2"x57" or  4L570W Napa 1/2"x57"

The 6-6211 is a 37" basic unit that did not come with a belt. That was in the Completeing package that made this unit fit the long frame tractor models using 6-9111 or the GT-14 using 6-9121. Won't give you those lengths because they will not be what is required in your case.

Good luck with the adaption.

These are some pictures of a Ranger with the small snowblower that may help you figure out what you need to do.  I think you are asking a lot of a 6 hp machine to run a larger blower. I only used my set-up one season.  Ranger will not go slow enough to avoid choking on the snow especially on the first pass when you cannot control the amount of snow going in.  Lots of clutch slipping and stopping required.
