front tire size issue

Merry Christmas to you all! My question is the specs call for a 16x5.5-8 tire size..I would like to put the three rib tires on but only see it in a 6 or 6.5 sizes. Any thoughts? I see photos of a lot of nice machines with these types of tires, just need to know what size I should buy. I am very sure my wheels are bone stock. The new paint did turn out nice though. Thanks for the help.

One thing about a moment ago, my old turf tires are 16x6.5-8. Should have seen this before I asked my question. Any thoughts on which ribbed tire I should use?

You could use these.....

Deestone D401, I have seen these on the later wider wheel as well, but i think they look just right on the earlier narrow wheels.

Search 'Deestone D401' on eBay they run about $70 a pair (inc. tubes and shipping). Ive had a good experience through eBay seller: k-morrow.

Thank you, I agree, the tires do look great. I was confused by the rim size, not seeing any tires for the narrow rim...then, when I saw the actual size on the old turf tires a light went off in my mind and sure enough, with help from my fellow WH friends, I will now order some tires. Thank you both for your help.  Martin, your tractor looks GREAT. Being raised on the rice farms here in Katy area, I knew I had to have the REAL tractor look. Thanks again for your support.

Need some help with setting up electrical to the engine. I got this one wire I don't know where it goes! I thought it went to the starter but it doesn't fit. A grounding wire went there I believe. Any ideas or manuals? And a front tire as well

I'm debating whether or not to upgrade to the four-bolt hub on my C165.  I have a swept axle up front with 16 6.50-8 ags up front and I'm considering this upgrade to make wheel swaps much easier.  So, to those of you whom have went with this swap, will the offset of the 18-8.50-8 tires and rims stick out farther than the rear?  Right now I have 1.5" wheel spacers on the rear end to make both axles have the same tread width.  The rims that I am looking at are ones found on a golf cart as I can get them with almost new tires for $10 a piece although I'm considering upgrading to four or six ply ribbed tires later on and loading them for extra weight and traction.  My only concerns are the clearances between the rim/tire against the axle and the front end having a wider track than the rear; I'm not concerned about the diameter of the tires.  Any thoughts or tips are appreciated!
