cruisnblue48 835 #1 Posted December 17, 2015 I just added this REO Wheel Horse snow thrower to my collection. A supervisor at my workplace who knew that I was into Wheel Horse tractors and owned a few (11 to be exact) offered it to me for free. He said the engine is not original and does not run. He was going to set it out curb side for the taking. So I rescued it. It is in surprisingly great shape for a 40-50 year old unit. I understand Wheel Horse manufactured REO equipment from 1963 until about 1973. But other than that, I know very little about what I actually adopted here. There are no S/N or model number tags on the unit unless hidden somewhere.

ericj 1,578 #4 Posted December 17, 2015 Dave I have a Trailblazer 7 in one of those and a parts machine with out a motor, but the reason i have the parts machine is that it came with a mower deck, so I would like to find another machine or a motor for mine so i could keep the mower mounted. i actually mounted it several years ago looked and worked almost like a newer walk behind mower. i think it a 36" gear drive deck like the older round hood tractors. I have used the blower and other then being hard on the hand holding the lever down to make it go, it does blow the snow pretty good. good luck with your new toy eric j
