Smemsic 19 #1 Posted December 15, 2015 slowly starting to restore one of my 520's. found a great place on line for the decals ( redo your horse) but am not able to find the heavy clear sticker for under the seat springs. If any one out there knows of the part number or how to obtain would be great. Last year I went through the engine, had 800 hours on it so figured it was time. I attached a few shots after the initial paint work and new seat. Also yes.................a shot of my other toys..............I mean tools..............lol
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,133 #2 Posted December 15, 2015 May be item 28 on this page https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro/mowers-lawn-garden-tractor/41-20oe02-520-h-toro-520-h-garden-tractor-sn-1000001-1999999-1991/decals/ There is an almost clear urethane tape used on the leading edge of aircraft wings that has been used on autos in areas subject to stone abrasion. Bet that product would work and often sold with auto body adhesive side moldings. Garry

Smemsic 19 #8 Posted December 16, 2015 Garry thanks for pointing out the sticker, lol should have seen it myself. The seat kept frustrating me cracking and holding water better than a spung, I got it at Tractor Supply Company, worked out great and helps my back so I put one on the 314-8 and other
lynnmor 7,373 #9 Posted December 16, 2015 I threaded a piece of clear vinyl tubing on the first loop of the seat springs. That will help protect the paint or your new decal. The paint will still scuff, so I would do both.
cleat 6,697 #10 Posted December 16, 2015 I don't have the seat switches hooked up on mine so I removed the coil springs. I purchased new rubber bumpers though and installed rubber pads on the fender to protect the paint. This has been done to all of my 520's. Cleat
