B80-   (K181)  Champion RJ8C  .025in gap

C160  (K341)  Champion RH10C  .035in gap

points would be 47-150-03 for both. point gap is .020in.

C175 would use RBL15Y  ( if you prefer, as I do, plugs that actually work use Autolite #25)

.025 plug gap  Points are set at .017

I did check both my c160 and the b80 and they had h10c in both.i have been doing a lot of research and others like the autolite 216 for the k341. and autolite 458 for the k181.what do others think about this.

H10C or 216 for the k341 is correct. Not sure about the k181. You don`t really want resister plugs. Points, 4715003-s

I use J-8C in all my k181"s and H10C in all my 10-14 hp kohler's. Not sure about the 16hp though.

Hmm I've never seen the different gaps for different ignition types before. I've always set my plug gaps at .025.

That is true for all magnums as shown in the service manual for them.

I'm running NGK B-6L in the k341 and NGK b-4 in the k181's but have had good luck out of the Autolites also. I started running the NGK's in old VW bugs and thought I would try them in the Kohlers and never looked back. I would prefer either of these over the Champion's, but everybody has their favorites. I got a hold of some bad Champions way back and that's what soured me on them but lots and I mean lots of people swear by them... .025 on the K181 and .035 on the K341 and .020 on the points but that may vary only your engine knows where it will run the best. .020 will get you close enough and may work great for you.
