Ken B 3,134 #52 Posted December 22, 2015 Where's the snow? So long as it isn't here I'm happy! I'm getting so many things done around the house because there has been no snow and its been real warm.. A white Christmas would be nice but that usually only happens on the Lifetime channel my wife always watches...

What then Steva ...no wine?!?! I just spent 12k on this new driveway so I wouldn't have to plow or blow gravel all over the lawns and rake in the spring....now no snow?? Well least all of the rain is keeping it clean! How bout I black top the lawns, paint them green and the driveway white????
roadapples 6,983 #63 Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) Nice job! I`ve got a 300 ft. driveway myself, but it`s not gonna` happen here. Not on social security. Edited December 22, 2015 by roadapples
DougC 2,641 #64 Posted December 22, 2015 I spray my gravel driveway and parking with grass and weed killer so it stays nice and white and compacted. I pretend its cement but have to do lots of rock raking in the spring. Haven't used the snow blower on it yet so all the windows in the trucks and house are still intact.
rjg854 11,247 #65 Posted December 25, 2015 Well I found a way to get some seat time today After the rain we've had my quarter mile driveway got a bit soft so I took the plow tractor out and graded the center hump down and pushed it into the usual tire paths. Now it's a little flatter. That should help some when it does come time to actually plow snow. So, I got some seat time and got out of the house for awhile. The sun was shining, it's still 50 some degrees, what else was there to do with a house full of women yacking.

TDF5G 2,069 #69 Posted December 28, 2015 We got our first snow here in KC last night. About 3/4" or so. Not enough to push. Still waiting. Prayers for all those in southern MO getting too much rain and flooding, and to all those in the southern states experiencing bad weather and storms.
Pullstart 62,193 #70 Posted December 28, 2015 Good to see it's finally coming down in West Michigan! Pulled a slide off out of the ditch a bit ago, ready to go clear some snow soon and play with the new salter!

WHX?? 48,067 #73 Posted December 28, 2015 Sweet Lookin 608... Sweet... someday mine is gonna look like that. The way it's blowing up here you'll be using that soon. Hate to be fussy but make mine a two stage. Have you still got the tall chute for sale?
WNYPCRepair 1,875 #74 Posted December 28, 2015 We have about 1/4" so far. It's supposed to turn to freezing rain later, so I took the time to try out my plow. The XI did well even without chains, though it is obvious I will need them before the snow gets really deep. It it is a lot faster than my walk behind snow blower, that's for sure. 10 minutes with the plow vs an hour with the blower.
