WNYPCRepair 1,914 #1 Posted November 25, 2015 Works very nice. I will have to make a solid link for down pressure, but the floating slotted link should be OK for snow.
953 nut 55,049 #2 Posted November 25, 2015 Nice looking herd, I use a chain on the lift and haven't found the need for down-pressure. Our driveway is paved and the snow is generally heavy and wet and seldom has any ice under it so it pushes off to the side well.
shallowwatersailor 3,213 #3 Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) I use the slotted link to allow it to float. That should work okay. I have never seen one in person but the solid link is a double link. Edited November 25, 2015 by shallowwatersailor
DougC 2,641 #4 Posted November 25, 2015 Nice pair of Toro Wheel Horses. I would be lost without my 48 inch blade. I've been gonna make a down pressure link for mine for eighteen years. Maybe next year.............
DennisThornton 4,769 #5 Posted November 25, 2015 Blade and blower! In my opinion, 2 musts for dealing with snow! Suggest the solid lift! Love mine for scraping the blower remains and preventing the remaining snow from turning into ice. I love my down pressure! (Thank you Baerpath!)
