DougC 2,641 #14 Posted November 19, 2015 Great job! I started out planning to build a cab but since my carpentry skills are sub-par and my patience is non existent these days I bought one instead. Yours looks like a cab company made it.......

Bosco 32 #20 Posted November 20, 2015 Well here's the deal guys the cab is on the tall side because I am 6 foot 4 and the last thing I wanted to do was smash my head on the way in and out every time. I do agree it looks like a phone booth but that's what happens when you shoot off the hip when building. It may look a little funny but it fits me well. It mounts to the rear bagger bracket and with 4 screws down thru each floor board. I used a lot of glass over plywood to eliminate blind spots. The original plan was to use plexy glass but when I found out how expensive it was going to get I went to plan B. I bought safety glass for windshield and rear window for $40. All the other glass was free from local glass shops due to scratches and was dumpster bound. Brought it all home and grabbed a glass cutter. Used 1/2 ac plywood and pine to build cab that was left over from other jobs. Windshield wiper motor is off an old boat and wiper arm off old Chevy van. 3 quarts of sunrise red and I'm into to it for $150. Hope the pictures help.
