Smokey 30 #1 Posted November 17, 2015 Hello everyone, I've been lurking and reading here for quite some time and finally signed up. I'm probably one of the very few people on the forum that don't own a Wheel Horse (yet) I've been on the hunt for a while and narrowly missed several. The information I've gained on this forum has been very helpful in deciding which model to look for, And for that I thank you all. Allen
roadapples 6,983 #2 Posted November 17, 2015 Learn all you can before you buy one? What a novel idea. Or maybe I did it backwards. Anyway, good luck finding one, or two, or.....it`s addictive. And welcome to Red Square!

Smokey 30 #4 Posted November 18, 2015 What model are you attracted to? I like the C series, The 1054 (missed a nice one a few days ago) and any of the larger models. I'd like to have a couple or 6 of 'em.

AMC RULES 37,130 #6 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) Should have no problem there... a couple 's turn into six, without even breaking a sweat. Edited November 18, 2015 by AMC RULES
953 nut 55,261 #7 Posted November 18, 2015 The 953 / 1054 are my personal favorites, the GT-14 is also one of the bigger models. Don't know how plentiful is in your area, scarce as hen's teeth in my neck of the woods. If you attend the Wheel Horse Collector's Club show in June up in PA; bring a big empty trailer and you can go home with a collection!

Seems like there are darn few Wheel Horse's in my area of any kind. The 1054 I missed was the only one of it's kind I've known of around here. It looked to be in nice shape and I hope it went to an owner that takes good care of it. There was a Wheel Horse/Toro dealer in town for years so I know there are some around but they don't come up for sale often.
