Mike_Eddleman 70 #1 Posted November 16, 2015 Started rewiring the tractor today and have a couple of questions, first what is the black thing in the picture? it sets beside the carb and looks like a vacuum hose going to the carb. Second their is a resister on the tractor that you can see in the picture. The coil that I got today looks like one off a car but it has two plug wires coming out of it does it need that resister? none of my others has one on them so I just don't know Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ol550 830 #5 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) That black thing is the governer housing. The hose is the crankcase vent.
