Wheel horse generator question

Recommended Posts

WNYPCRepair

I saw a generator for sale on CL. I was wondering about the wheels on the front of the mount, and wondered if they were just for moving it around while not attached, or do they serve a purpose? Do you need and idler? Anyone have a picture of one connected?

Brian, I can tell you those wheels were for moving it around. I know because I built that frame and sold it at the big show a couple of years ago. I was in the process of making my own frame for a genny and then this one on my old C-145 became available so I snagged it. I added wheels to this too.

I don't know if those particular ones are, but WH did make two models that I know of. The one I posted first had a WH ID tag if I remember correctly

Generac supplied the gen sets.. My genny pictured is the same ,as the WH ones. They just painted them red and put WH decals on them.

One was 3000 and one was 5000 watt. The 5000 also had an outlet for 220v. The 5000 seem to be a little harder to come by.
