WNYPCRepair 1,914 #1 Posted November 12, 2015 I saw a generator for sale on CL. I was wondering about the wheels on the front of the mount, and wondered if they were just for moving it around while not attached, or do they serve a purpose? Do you need and idler? Anyone have a picture of one connected?

squonk 41,018 #5 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) Brian, I can tell you those wheels were for moving it around. I know because I built that frame and sold it at the big show a couple of years ago. I was in the process of making my own frame for a genny and then this one on my old C-145 became available so I snagged it. I added wheels to this too. WNYPCRepair 1,914 #7 Posted November 18, 2015 Please excuse my ignorance but were these a factory built item? I don't know if those particular ones are, but WH did make two models that I know of. The one I posted first had a WH ID tag if I remember correctly
squonk 41,018 #8 Posted November 19, 2015 Generac supplied the gen sets.. My genny pictured is the same ,as the WH ones. They just painted them red and put WH decals on them.

c-series don 8,661 #10 Posted November 19, 2015 One was 3000 and one was 5000 watt. The 5000 also had an outlet for 220v. The 5000 seem to be a little harder to come by.
