Curiousity   has got me wondering if I blade the leaves in a big pile with my '56 860 Ford, back the truck up by the pile (you all know whats come'in next don't ya....)  drive up to the pile on the 520H engauge the blower and.................WHISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Blow those leaves into the truck bed/topper.....Ehhhhh, Just a thought.......Probably break somethin...................

Sounds like a great idea but put some tarps in the bed and a piece of plywood to protect the rear glass. On second thought just go over the
rental place and rent a leaf blower and tell us the snow blower worked awesome.

I saw a YouTube video of someone using a walk-behind snowblower the same way. It should work - but there is always the chance of breaking something just before snow season starts! Don't get caught in the intake.Go for it!

I drove mine across the lawn while it was running (for testing after new parts installed) and noticed leaves coming out of the chute. Lowered it and was surprised to see it picked up leaves and blew them out of the chute just like snow.

I did that too!   Was testing the snowblower and ran it through the leaves ... blew them just like snow.   Then I went to the big pile of leaves beside the garden ... blew that huge pile into the garden where I wanted them.  All that was left in that spot was green grass.

Shouldn't be a problem and it will probably work better than a 2 stage. Small sticks and stuff shouldn't be an issue either but rocks and stones certainly could be.

I remember a thread a while back where a guy wanted to use his to dig a trench in soft sandy soil but don't remember if he did it or the outcome.

Watch for rocks, hockey pucks, delivered newspapers, shoes and the like... What gets caught in the snow blower will get caught in your "leaf" blower...

Just a reminder to the guys playing with their walk behind blower in the leaves... they ain't got air filters on them so if its dry and dusty out your sucking in dirt.

Nothing works better moving leaves than one of these. I've owned all of the major brand walk behind blowers and the Little Wonder beats em all. My neighbor who is a landscaper gave me this blower because it had a hole in the side of the block. I cleaned the blower itself up real good and put a Harbor Freight 8hp engine on it last night. I never thought i'd buy a Chinese engine but it was twice as much for a Briggs motor. The Predator fired on the second pull and runs awesome! I'm all in at 250 bucks.

Why not chop it up with the mower and fertilize the lawn with free fertilizer?

   I watched it too and thought the same thing...... A 2 stage does'nt have the intake suction like a 1 stage. Like the other guys when I tested mine after new shaft bearings the leaves on the garage floor a foot or more in front of the blower got sucked in and blown out...... Thats what got me thinking about blowing them in the back of the truck..... I may try  it this next week.............:D

Mikekot3  Did I screw something up ? Drove 275 miles today and started going thru 175 emails. My brain and butt were numb , I think I should have waited until tomorrow on the emails. Five days without the Forum and I get the shakes.

:twocents-02cents:  Just be sure you stay away from the Black Walnut trees, those suckers would be lethal coming out of a blower!       :ychain:
