Thank you Sir! Over the weekend I was able to get paint back on some of the tin, It is really red, not orangish like it comes out in the pictures. Took the frame back apart to paint the axle and move the transaxle back and down. Wow, I really need to clean my garage! Some times directions just change. I changed course too! I bought a 520-H that needs a motor, and when I look at this there isn't much of my Dad's tractor left, so..... I ordered up some new decals, and a set of solid motor mounts from A1 Miller and I'm putting the 10 back in 105. Thor27 804 #35 Posted August 27, 2017 (edited) I didn't like the sight screw set up on the oil tank. So... I opened up the hole for a 3/4"npt weld on bung for a sight glass..... So I opened up the hole with a big unibit, in hind sight I should have looked inside.. Because there is a tube from the return to keep the fluid from foaming. Thor27 804 #36 Posted August 27, 2017 (edited) That tank is part of a (Ark 550) Wheel horse 97-40FL01 loader. Figured I'd try and document some of the stuff I find out as we go. There are 3 sizes of pins in my loader 3/4x2.5" at both sets of rams to the boom assembly, 3/4x3" at both ends of boom assembly, and 3/4x2.75 at the other end of all 4 rams. I bought pins from zoro and drilled them for grease fittings. The loader pivot points are in great shape as they all are pinned. Thor27 804 #38 Posted September 10, 2017 (edited) Yesterday I was able to rebuild the basic sub frame, easy except that I wanted to re use the front brackets that had some UGLY torch cuts that required patching. I put it under the tractor today to get the spacing right and tack in the cross member that the uprights sit in. It sits level, but the tractor still has a rake cause I wasn't as smart as @Aldon to drop the front axle mounts. I have another set of 520 spindles I was going to modify, but at this point I think I'll just live with it. 10' from tip of bucket to back of weight box. This tractor told me how it wanted to go together, but i didn't listen. 4 years later still had the magnum, and this parts tractor sitting in a corner holding up a K582. So I tossed them together with some black hood tins, I really like this tractor. I didn't really care for hydros until I had one with a pedal. So much so I stole the tires off my C105 and added gear reduction steering. wired it with none of those pesky safety switches. the loaded tires made it even better, so I added inner and outer weights, BORROWED the tins from the 105, and the seat I was saving for my railder. Ended up with the tractor I set out to build. Loader is going on this one and the c-105 will get it's tins back when I paint the ones I'm doing for this.
