cleat 5,809 #26 Posted October 24, 2015 This garage building itself cost $4926.80 Canadian after freight and taxes. It was made in New Brunswick and shipped via transport truck to my house.I used my tractor and loader with pallet forks to unload the truck.I also used the tractor to lift each frame section up.It took 3 of us to pull the cover up and over the frame. This is a very heavy built unit made by Covertech. www.cover-tech.comCleat

WHX?? 48,761 #29 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Do you think I need plastic under the gravel? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk I think it all depends on alot of things includeing the lay of the land and what kind of soil underneath. Here in sand country drainage is usually never a problem. On clay or hard pack that mine be otherwise.I love these storage buildings as they are alot less $$ than a real barn but still keep the rain off the horse!! BTW Cleat I like the the one with the cab....blue one ain't too shabby either.. Edited October 25, 2015 by WHX5 Add

Brian01 481 #32 Posted October 25, 2015 Dannng..lol...yeah those wheels n tires are only rated at like 300 lbs max or something like that when brand new....doesn't take but a little gravel to weigh up fast.

slammer302 2,155 #37 Posted October 26, 2015 I'm happy with the carport but i went out this morning and it was very humid and warm inside and the walls were wet so i'm thinking i may need to add a vent but considering i only paid 192$ for the carport after taxes and 40$ for 7ton of gravel i can't complain about the storage i gained. I also got to use the 314H to move the gravel around and it got worked pretty hard and it didn't miss a beat everything else fell apart on me the C121 lost its steering when the pin that holds the fan gear close the steering gear broke and the trailer had its blow outs so i guess i will stop saying i don't like the 314H i even gave it sum tlc this morning a good cleaning and hub caps and the yellow seat is gone!
Brian01 481 #38 Posted October 26, 2015 After a few weeks, the ground should dry out good and shouldn't have the moisture problem.
bmsgaffer 2,043 #39 Posted October 26, 2015 That gravel you moved in there was probably pretty wet. Leave the doors cracked for a while and it should dry out no problem.
