JimD 3,345 #1 Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) it was free!! I haven't posted in here much lately and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so Mods feel free to move this if you need to. My Sister and Brother in Law recently bought a different house and in the deal he acquired a nice John Deere tractor with a vacuum for leaves. So he decided to give me his other tractor which is five years old with 79 hours on the clock. He knows I've been struggling to keep up with the Horses with all the health issues. So yesterday he delivered this to my house.. It's a nice little D110 that will be a grass cutter here along with one of the Horses, either the B60 or B80, whichever we choose to use any given day. The Horses will get more rest with the new helper. No, I'm not converting to the "Dark Side" but it's hard to no to accept something this nice and especially from a class guy like my Brother in Law Bob Weeks, and my wonderful Sister Lois. squonk 41,155 #14 Posted October 20, 2015 You should try to avoid mowing in the dark if you can. You might mow over some dog muffins or get the deck blades tangled up with your favorite garden rake. Owls are up in the dark but do most of their digestion while roosting during the day.
