squonk 40,717 #1 Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) And I don't mean sleeping either!! Got the blade on with the 5 sector angle bracket. Each tire is filled with RV antifreeze and of course the weights. About 340 extra LB's plus the 2 link chains. Edited October 17, 2015 by squonk

shallowwatersailor 3,213 #9 Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) Leaves just started to fall this week, and snowthrower with cab still stored. I pickup the 60" deck next weekend for the 523Dxi!Freeze tonight and tomorrow night though. Long-term forecast predicts a wet winter. Aldon 4,826 #10 Posted October 17, 2015 I prefer to be prepared early. Last year could not find snow tires for my company car anywhere. Rough winter to be driving all over regions with no snows. The Fusion is just squirrelly. This year I was probably the first one to get a set of Nokians on bright and early on Friday.Hopefully Squonk and I being pro-active will cause the universe to give us mild winter But if not, I am ready !
muz123 1,191 #11 Posted October 17, 2015 Looks good mike! I still have the mower deck on my C-175 too.
953 nut 54,319 #12 Posted October 18, 2015 With all of the preparations everyone are making it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't get any measurable snow at all. The blade, chains and wheel weights never came off the 1055 this year so I guess I beat all of you. Sort of like the folks that leave the ice sickle lights on the house all year, until July they are seen as procrastinators, by August they are considered proactive. Nice setup Mike.
