I use 500 degree engine enamel paint it usually stays buy Dupli-Color#1605 Ford Red this also is resistant to oils. I do not prime I just spray it on. As long as it is clean. Close enough I say it is not being Judged. Thanks, Craig

Retired Wrencher 5,441 #13 Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) That tin indian looks great Gary. Craig I had all shrouds fine sand blasted to take off all old paint. I saved all bolts redid them with a 6" wire wheel them clear coat them. I MEAN ALL BOLTS. When you are retired I guess you have time to do this. It is getting there. Will be a nice winter project to get it running. Nice....that sticker on the recoil is choice. Why is the cord hanging out like that?? Jim it is new recoil that I had. So I guess extra rope for different applications. I have to trim it when it is all back together. Edited October 17, 2015 by T1257
