Should I use tubes in rear tires on SK 486

On my SK 486 I am restoring should I use tubes in Carlisle tru power tires?  They are 23 x 10 1/5 x 12
I mainly use tractor for hauling with a dump cart.  Also cut paths in fields with it.

Only two reasons I know to put tubes in is if you can't keep air in them or if you want to fill them with heavy but corrosive calcium chloride.

I agree with Dennis. I'm quick to throw tubes in them though.

Generally tubes are one of the first things I do. Pulling that old horse out of the weeds or barn with flat tires having cracks in them and hoping they will hold air --- well, not to likely. And, I'm almost certainly gonna paint the rims and pulling the tires eases that job and allows closer inspection of the tires and rims.

I put tubes in them if I have removed them from the rim, or they won't hold air. If they will sit along time without use, I would tube them because sooner or later when you want to use them they will be flat.

Agree 100%.
Now is better than later.
That piece of quality built, American history that you are restoring will likely be around for a long time.
With tubes in it, the only limitation is you can't drive on the highways.

Thanks on all the replys. Since I purchased all new tires, wheels and the tubes from Miller Tire in Ohio I will have the tubes installed as your all suggesting.  I did not know if there was any benefits to not installing them.      I will get some pictures on soon of my tractor.
