ronhatch 406 #1 Posted September 26, 2015 I made several modifications and improvements (in my mine anyway) along the way. There are a few other things I want to add/change, but they can wait until winter. I think 2nd gear is a little slow for mowing and a safety lock out for the Hi/Low shift lever would be a good idea. But, all in all, I'm happy with the end result. Now we'll find out if it can share the shed with it's little brother, a '67 867 WH, a '66 B-10 AC, a '64 round fender 110 JD, and a '89 4016 Case.

bmsgaffer 2,046 #4 Posted September 26, 2015 Interesting for sure. Do the AC, JD and case all say farmall or just your horses?

ronhatch 406 #6 Posted September 26, 2015 (edited) Nope! just my 2 Wheel Horses and my '89 Ingersoll. The other day I removed the 'colorful' Ingersoll decals and substituted the word "CASE". I grew up on a farm in the '50s. What can I say? We had JDs, ACs and Farmalls, but no Ingersolls or WHs. But seriously, with the modifications I made to the tractor and deck you guys are focusing on the decals? Really? 953 nut 56,149 #7 Posted September 26, 2015 Is that in the witness protection program? Can't understand why it is masquerading as an inferior IH; perhaps it is a Halloween costume. Seriously, looks good and I am a big fan of the high back seat, nice job.

No, the tractor and deck are beautiful, and I love the wheels/rollers on the deck are awesome. The Farmall decals just confused me. I'm kind of new to all this, but it sure looked like a WH to me.
mikekot3 92 #9 Posted September 26, 2015 Hello Ron Hatch,Where did you get the seat and what is the make and manufacturer of it?Is the deck rear roller setup something you fabricated in place of the usual rollers? Why did you choose that setup?

Well sure, that's the first thing that catches everyone's eye... especially on a Wheel Horse forum! Not my usual cup of tea, but it looks nicely done. As far as mods, I noticed the rollers and 'lift-kit', those look like they could do some nice striping, but its hard to find in the picture any other deck mods. Maybe you could take some closer detail pictures of the modifications and fill us in! We are all suckers for more pictures, and I love to see peoples modifications. Functional ones especially.
ronhatch 406 #11 Posted September 27, 2015 (edited) I like the striped ball park look, hence the custom full length roller set up. The modified height adjustment has 6 closely spaced setting Vs the normal 5. The seat is the one thing I'm not fond of. The high back makes it hard for an old guy to get his leg over. I bought the seat from Blains Farm & Fleet. I think I'll install it on my 4016 Case and buy another seat with a lower back for my Farmall which, by the way, is painted Ford Tractor Red.
