sdhdcouple 133 #3 Posted September 24, 2015 yes but why? that is the question of what is causing it when it is hot and then works when it cools off.
mikekot3 92 #4 Posted September 24, 2015 Perhaps start with a nice points and condenser.
pacer 3,174 #5 Posted September 24, 2015 is hot and then works when it cools off. Usually 1 of 2 most likely culprits are the condenser and coil....
woodchuckfarmer 333 #6 Posted September 27, 2015 a condenser will do that
Don1977 604 #7 Posted September 27, 2015 How long does it run before it stops. A bad fuel pump will do the same thing on older tractors with the gas tank under the hood.
prondzy 3,882 #8 Posted September 30, 2015 A clogged vent in the gas cap will do the same. Pretty common on 65-69 tractors with the metal fuel tank that rubs on The underside of the hood
sdhdcouple 133 #9 Posted October 1, 2015 seems to run for 10 to 15 min then stops. but I am not 100% positive, never really timed it. just a guess. I will check the cap on the tank and run it and time it.
