I have trees so close to my house I need that giant mulcher. No one will climb them to cut them because they are covered in poison ivy

I live in the middle of a forest on a mountainside, I would cut trees down just to watch this thing eat the stump.

What part of NC? My brother lives in Dobson, and I lived just across the line from Boone, NC in TN as a kid. Still own the property

Nice country. I was in Cherokee a few years back

I have a super heavy duty gear box with about a 40:1 ratio to build something like that stump grinder but unfortunately the stump would still be there with a Wheel Horse orbiting around it.
That thing is cool and seems someone built a better mouse trap. Just wonder how long those edges stay sharp enough to cut like that.

It looks kind of like a giant Forstner bit. Works the same too

That shows what 160 hp at the PTO will do. Certainly quicker and easier than grinding away with the smaller grinders.  It might be a bit heavy going across my septic field though.
