jeremi3210 742 #1 Posted August 14, 2015 Does anybody know if this is a suburban snow blade? If not what will it fit? Thanks in advance.
wallfish 17,516 #2 Posted August 14, 2015 Yes it is Ask if they have the foot pedal to go with it. It connects with a small chain and is used to release the pin which holds the blade in position. Not completely necessary to have but it's nice for setting the angle from the seat. A small rope connected to the top corners of the blade and draped over the steering wheel is used to pull the blade into different positions.Look on the tractor if they have it It'll fit 400,550, 401, 551 and an RJ but will need the RJ adapter mount to clear the front axle
jeremi3210 742 #3 Posted August 14, 2015 Ok the guy selling it wants 125.00. It doesn't have the foot pedal with it. Iam not up on what these things are going for, does that sound like a fair price?

CasualObserver 3,410 #8 Posted August 17, 2015 @wallfish Nice pics and drawing John, that will help a lot of people. I just had that pedal in my hand this weekend and was thinking of doing the same thing. (stuff like this is something we should build a library of!)
wallfish 17,516 #9 Posted August 17, 2015 (edited) Thanks Jason! So you like my MS Paint handy work of crude drawings huh? Here's another one of the lift link for that blade .I think a library of this stuff is an excellent idea. Small things like these are easier to make than finding one. Stuff like solid lift links for a snow/dozer blade is another thing many people look for.
