mitchelld75 1 #1 Posted July 25, 2015 Looking g at a decent shape c195. Has a nice solid 60 inch deck and no tiller. But the 3 point and hydraulics all work.... The guy is asking 1000. Any input?
pfrederi 17,653 #2 Posted July 25, 2015 I would buy it. Would of habit try to negotiate a bit but really the $1000 for a good runner isn't way out of line
boovuc 1,090 #3 Posted July 25, 2015 Check out the engine. Ask if you can do a compression test on the engine.

AMC RULES 37,127 #5 Posted July 25, 2015 (edited) Might price the 60" deck, and three point alone...then decide. Edited July 25, 2015 by AMC RULES
fireman 1,021 #6 Posted July 25, 2015 (edited) That's a great deal at that price! Run don't walk! Buy it and get it home before someone else does seeing as you showed the telephone number on his for sale tag. The 3 point parts alone are worth $350 to $400. The deck is probably worth $200 to $400 depending on true condition. Sheet metal looks real straight and don't see rust. I would be all over it like a Hobo on a ham sandwich! Just my $.02. If you can get it any cheaper then better yet. Edited July 25, 2015 by fireman

Aldon 4,826 #10 Posted July 25, 2015 Here's a side pic of my 195 pulley set up.
953 nut 55,051 #11 Posted July 25, 2015 Don't know why the flat idler is set up on a separate bracket, but it should be located on the mule drive along side the "V" idler. I guess this setup will work OK but the tension on the mule drive will have to move twice as far for the same results. I wouldn't turn it down just because of this, just use it until the belt needs replacement.
Aldon 4,826 #12 Posted July 26, 2015 (edited) I am not sure what changes on angles and belt clearance for this model and layout but this is the Wheel Horse proper prescribed way for this model. The layout is available on parts diagrams. For C195 and the 60 inch Ariens sourced deck. Edited July 26, 2015 by Aldon
