Looks like it's in nice condition. The 520's are comfortable to drive.:bow-blue:

Got a chance to dig into it a little today despite the CRAZY heat and humidity.

Needed some major motion control adjustments. It was completely missing the friction washer on the cam plate. Its still not perfect, but I am probably putting Matt's kit on it so I will worry about it then.

It was making a little rattling noise and I came to find out the spring was completely missing from the drive belt tensioner. Luckily I had a good used one from a parts tractor, went ahead and replaced that bushing while I was in there even though the one in there seemed perfectly fine.

The two different front tires are going to drive me crazy. The annoying part is that I hate turf savers, but that's the one that is brand new... Trying to decide if I am putting on the V61's on this tractor or not.

The 520's are great tractors, we have one that is used for mowing, the biggest thing I can say if you are going to mow with it, make sure if you see any grass on the shroud, stop and remove it to keep it as cool as possible.

Started the first fluids change tonight. Got the engine oil filter off and it had a date inscribed on it: 04-28-01. The oil hasn't been changed in 14 years!

Also broke the factory paint off the transmission drain plug, drained the oil out and found out the funnel I have is too big for the transmission tube. :eusa-doh: Have to stop and pick up a good funnel tomorrow before I can fill 'er back up and test it out tomorrow.

About 15 years ago I talked to a fella who had a Toyota pickup with over 150k miles on it. During the discourse he mentioned he had never changed oil. He just added oil when it was low. The oil stick looked like rear end grease. It's baffling that folks disregard basic routine maintenance. I always wondered if that old coot had decided to change oil after that abuse if the engine would just crap out.

That's a pristine looking 520-H. Congrats. Great haul! I had to put on my sunglasses when I looked at those hubcaps.

      Very Solid tractor!

Newer Agro Tires on Rear and Solid Front Turf Tires. Wheel Weights on rear. Fully Swapped Forward Swept axle off of 520h. I ran my 60" Deck on this tractor for over a year with no issues.
Deck it solid top to bottom with no rot and newer blades. Belt and Pulley are good to go!
She's just a little dusty and needs a cleaning. Can get a nice Seat a Tractor Supply.

Vac-Bagger off a 42” mower deck from a 314. Unit is in nice shape and complete. I have a DR Leaf Vac, so I’ve never used it. Can deliver to Zagray. Thx for looking. Paul.

Now that we are finding more uses for the 1990 520H with a KwikWay loader I am experiencing some power loss in the hydro after about a half hour to 45 minutes??????
      Ideas?
